The intent for this master suite remodel was to create a cohesive, light-filled retreat that balances comfort, personality, and timeless appeal. Spanning the home office, bedroom, bath, and dual closets, the design should unify these spaces through a bright aesthetic that avoids leaning too heavily into either modern minimalism or traditional formality.

The existing layout presented challenges, particularly the acute angles and centrally placed glass block shower. We were tasked with accommodating an ambitious program: a full laundry area, separate his-and-hers vanities and closets, a private toilet room and a spacious shower with dual shower heads. To resolve this, the design introduces a wet room that consolidates the bathing functions and frees up the central footprint. This approach opens the space and allows for a functional laundry island with a washer and dryer, generous countertop space for folding, and integrated storage for cleaning supplies and household equipment, improving both flow and usability.

"The TJI Team took our ideas and requirements and transformed the space into a light, bright, and extremely cohesive space that is truly in tune with our lifestyle and personal preferences. Everything was so well thought through that one would believe, it was what the space should have looked like when the home was originally built. Kudos and thank you to the TJI Team for their dedication to our project and carefully listening to our thoughts and ideas to bring the finished project to life in our personal way with TJI’s “magical touch”.

The earlier, the better! Ideally, bring us in during initial planning or even before starting a renovation/build. That way, we can collaborate with architects and builders, save you from costly redesigns, and ensure cohesive, efficient results.
A decorator focuses on styling—furniture, accessories, finishes. In contrast, an interior designer combines aesthetics with technical and structural knowledge: space planning, materials, building codes, and CAD drawings. Designers shape your space; decorators style it.
We take a different approach than traditional interior designers. Rather than marking up the cost of goods for added commission, we prioritize transparency by passing our trade discounts directly to our clients, often resulting in savings that exceed the cost of our design services.
