Designer Roller shades are comprised of a single piece of fabric that rolls up around a cassette/headbox installed at the top of a window. LuXout offers three types of headboxes: Open Fascia, Square Fascia, and Pocket. Roller shades can easily be made for any window size, allow for any amount of light filtration, are very low maintenance and lean a bit more contemporary in design. They can be inside or outside mounted (installed inside or outside of the window frame) and have a standard or reverse roll.
LuXout offers metallic and colored headboxes and bottom bars, decorative scallops, braids, pulls, poles and eyelets to personalize your choice and coordinate with your interior design scheme.
Lux Roller Shades are a more upscale shade with metal or polymer components and covers in a variety of finishes. There are more options of headboxes than for the Designer Roller Shades as well (Open roller, Semi-Open Cassette, Square Fascia, Ultimate Fascia, Large Square Dual Fascia, Coupled Open Roller and Coupled Square Fascia).
There are over 800 unique roller shade fabrics!
Every roller shade, Designer or Lux, is tested and signed before being carefully packed for shipping as your assurance of a quality product. Every motorized shade is programmed to work immediately out of the box to assist installations and quickly satisfy customers.

Solar Roller Shades
Sun control at its finest. LuXout Shades offers a variety of screen openness factors that block up to 99% of the sun’s UV rays, stopping glare and protecting furnishings all while preserving daytime views. There are many benefits to solar shades:
Daylighting – Roller shades manage & optimize natural daylight, helping to reduce dependency on artificial lighting.
Glare control – Roller shades allow homeowners to control the direction and amount of sunlight entering their space with light-filtering fabrics that reduce glare and reflections. Hundreds of fabric choices enable precise levels of daylight control including 1-3% open fabrics for privacy and room darkening and 5% open fabrics that will filter glare all while allowing an interior view to the outdoors and privacy during daylight from the outdoors.
Management of thermal heat gain – Manage heat generated by the sun. Solar shades can be closed to minimize solar heat gain or they can be raised to allow solar heating.
Aesthetics – Filter daylight to create even, glare-free lighting levels while ensuring privacy.
Indoor air quality – Many of the solar fabrics are certified for low emissions by the GREENGUARD Environmental Institute, pass the stricter requirements of GREENGUARD Gold and are GREENGUARD listed for Microbial Resistance. Careful selection of low emitting materials such as solar screen fabrics minimize the presence of contaminants such as volatile organic compounds (VOC’s), odors and dust.

Double Roller Shade or Zebra Shade

The Double Roller Shade is an innovative, easy-to-use-window treatment option. A single control is used to slide the opaque and translucent woven stripes past each other; the same is also used to raise or lower the shade to the desired height.
The front layer moves independently of the back layer, allowing for the stripes to glide between each other creating an open and closed effect – thereby giving limitless light control to the user. Sliding the fabric to a closed “opaque-opaque” position allows for full privacy and light blocking, while the “translucent-opaque” position creates a striped effect while also lets light into the room. And, there are over 85 different colors and textures to choose from.
Roman Shades
Roman shades are made of fabric that draw up into a pleat. They are made by connecting slats, which are attached to cords, into the back of the panel. There is a myriad of styles of Roman shades, to suit any design style.
The initial Roman shade offering has been discontinued. However, LuXout Shades can fabricate custom Roman shades with designer-provided fabric.
