This is a versatile trend that can accommodate contemporary or classical design schemes alike¹. The curved sofas are great for conversations, lounging and entertainment.

Nostalgia

Art-deco is making a comeback. And the trending curved sofa definitely takes its inspiration from the curved lines and details of the Art-deco style². Art-deco reached its peak in the 1920s, made a come-back 100 years after, and is still inspiring interior designers today. Trend predictors say we are in a full-blown Art-deco revival. In these challenging times, the revival of Art Deco which represents optimism, beauty and creativity is welcoming. The comfort in geometric shapes, curves and familiarity in the historic references kindles nostalgia and creates a comfortable vibe that is much needed in these testing times³.
