The master bedroom at Lande was designed as a tranquil and restorative sanctuary. Talie Jane Interiors established a calming design direction that blends soft, natural tones with layered textures to promote relaxation and comfort. The layout was organized to maximize natural light and facilitate ease of movement, with careful attention to proportions and balance. Statement lighting and subtle textiles were selected to reinforce a restful atmosphere, while custom furnishings and tailored details helped anchor the room’s identity as a personal retreat. The design reflects a refined yet inviting aesthetic, creating a space that feels both intimate and elevated.

At the heart of the Lande home, the kitchen balances practical performance with refined design. Talie Jane Interiors focused on optimizing workflow and functionality without compromising on style. Custom cabinetry was paired with high-quality hardware and finishes to create a cohesive and durable environment for everyday use. The layout enhances efficiency with thoughtfully placed storage zones and work surfaces, while integrated appliances contribute to a streamlined aesthetic. The color palette and material selections — combining warm neutrals and subtle contrasts — ensure this space feels both welcoming and timeless. Strategic lighting was used to support task areas and accentuate design details, reinforcing the kitchen as both a workspace and a gathering place.

The outdoor pool area at Lande was conceived as an extension of the home’s interior design narrative, creating a seamless connection between indoor spaces and the outdoors. Talie Jane Interiors collaborated with landscape and exterior specialists to ensure the pool environment reflects the same design principles found throughout the interior — harmony, comfort, and thoughtful detailing. Hardscape materials were selected to complement interior finishes, and lounge areas were furnished to encourage relaxation and social interaction. Through coordinated finishes, lighting, and layout, the outdoor pool space enhances the home’s livability while reinforcing a sense of cohesion and continuity that supports both everyday lifestyle and outdoor entertaining.

What areas do you serve?

We’re based on the southeast shore of Lake Tahoe, with our office in Stateline, NV. We proudly serve the entire Lake Tahoe region — including Reno, Carson City, Truckee — and beyond into Napa and Sonoma County.

When is the best time to hire an interior designer?

The earlier, the better! Ideally, bring us in during initial planning or even before starting a renovation/build. That way, we can collaborate with architects and builders, save you from costly redesigns, and ensure cohesive, efficient results.

What is the difference between an interior designer and an interior decorator?

A decorator focuses on styling—furniture, accessories, finishes. In contrast, an interior designer combines aesthetics with technical and structural knowledge: space planning, materials, building codes, and CAD drawings. Designers shape your space; decorators style it.

How is billing and pricing handled?

We take a different approach than traditional interior designers. Rather than marking up the cost of goods for added commission, we prioritize transparency by passing our trade discounts directly to our clients, often resulting in savings that exceed the cost of our design services.
