The living room at Wildwood was designed as the central gathering space, where comfort and style intersect beautifully. Talie Jane Interiors approached this room with an emphasis on creating a warm, inviting atmosphere that supports both quiet relaxation and social connection. The layout was refined to encourage natural circulation and conversation, drawing inspiration from timeless design elements while integrating contemporary touches. Thoughtfully chosen furnishings, layered textiles, and balanced proportions help establish a space that feels both sophisticated and livable — a true reflection of the homeowners’ lifestyle.

Lighting was carefully curated to enhance the ambiance throughout the day, combining natural light with ambient and task fixtures that contribute to the room’s warmth and usability. The result is a living room that welcomes residents and guests alike while anchoring the home’s overall design narrative with subtle elegance.

In the kitchen, functionality and refined design come together to support everyday routines and entertaining alike. Talie Jane Interiors focused on optimizing the spatial layout and storage solutions to improve workflow and usability, making the kitchen feel intuitive and efficient without compromising on style. Cabinetry was custom selected to provide ample storage while maintaining seamless visual lines that enhance the room’s aesthetic.

The material palette blends durable, high-quality surfaces with neutral tones that feel both timeless and approachable. Strategic lighting enhances key work areas, while design details like coordinated hardware and finish selections add a polished feel. This kitchen now serves as both a functional hub for daily life and an open, connected space that integrates smoothly with adjacent social areas.

The master suite at Wildwood was curated as a restful retreat with a focus on comfort and personal expression. Talie Jane Interiors developed a soothing palette and layered textures that promote relaxation and support daily routines. The layout was designed for effortless flow, with furniture placement that prioritizes openness and ease of movement, while bespoke lighting and carefully chosen textiles deepen the sense of intimacy.

Details like soft upholstery, harmonious color selections, and tailored finishes come together to create a bedroom that balances peaceful introspection with refined design. The space feels both elevated and intimately connected to the overall home aesthetic, offering a serene escape at the end of each day.

Your Questions, Answered

Find quick answers to the most common questions about our services and process.
What services does Talie Jane Interiors offer?

Talie Jane delivers award-winning, full-service interior design with a thoughtful approach to every detail, from custom cabinetry and window treatments to beautifully organized closet systems.

What areas do you serve?

We’re based on the southeast shore of Lake Tahoe, with our office in Stateline, NV. We proudly serve the entire Lake Tahoe region — including Reno, Carson City, Truckee — and beyond into Napa and Sonoma County.

When is the best time to hire an interior designer?

The earlier, the better! Ideally, bring us in during initial planning or even before starting a renovation/build. That way, we can collaborate with architects and builders, save you from costly redesigns, and ensure cohesive, efficient results.

What is the difference between an interior designer and an interior decorator?

A decorator focuses on styling—furniture, accessories, finishes. In contrast, an interior designer combines aesthetics with technical and structural knowledge: space planning, materials, building codes, and CAD drawings. Designers shape your space; decorators style it.

How is billing and pricing handled?

We take a different approach than traditional interior designers. Rather than marking up the cost of goods for added commission, we prioritize transparency by passing our trade discounts directly to our clients, often resulting in savings that exceed the cost of our design services.
